This disk is part of the package "quasar option polyester printing plates" and includes tools for setting imagesetter and RIP for the exposure of polyester printing plates, the manufacturer 3M and Mitsubishi.
It contains a four-color calibration job that is used to create the printing press-specific settings, as well as digital test strips for control of the plate exposure.
The Kalibrierjob is located in the "Calibration" and is called "GTO / SM 52cmyk.sea". It is a compressed downloadable PostScript file. To decompress the file must be opened with a double and stored on the hard disk of the computer.
The file consists of a four-color digital print control strip of the Heidelberg CPC2 Specification, color fields to create the parameters for the program open print, test fields to create the calibration curves, register marks and test strips to check the plate exposure.
After the pressure of the plates exposed with this file, all relevant exposure data calculated or controlled.
The test fields to create the calibration curves are measured by densitometry. There are the linear nominal values and the values for the typical dot gains conventional metal plates indicated.
